How to Uninstall and Reinstall .Net Framework 1.1 – 4.7

Reinstall .Net Framework 4.7

a. First, we must uninstall .NET Framework

Download and Run the following tool, it will help you uninstall one or all versions except 4.7.

To Uninstall 4.7, This one is tough, it depends on what version of 10 you have. IF you have windows 7 then this should work: you must uninstall the Update KB3186539 Control panel -> Programs and Features -> View Installed Updates -> KB3186539

.Net 4.7 Eventually gets locked into Windows 10, you have to roll back the update to 1607, I don’t plan to roll back the users OS just to reinstall 4.7.

To reinstall .NET you need 3-4 installers
a. .NET 1.1
-1.1 isn’t always needed, if you don’t think you need it, you can skip it.

-.NET 1.1 SP1
When you go to run this, it might ask you to download and install 3.5. Go ahead.
