Synology Unable to Mount Remote Folder

Synology 12 Bay DS1813+ Rack Mount
INTEL Atom D2700 2.13 GHz 2048 MB RAM
DSM 6.0.3-8754 Update 1

Synology has a remote folder that I am unable to unmount.

“Failed to unmount the remote folder. Please check if it is occupied by other users.”

The only way I could bypass this was to disconnect all Ethernet cables except one. I then changed the IP, which…gave me a small window…. Honestly it didn’t do much

I then went to the “Connected Users” box, and just kept clicking kill connection until I could remove the remote folder.

What normally works: Alternative
Control Panel -> Shared Folder -> Edit -> Permissions -> remove permissions for the users that are connected. A restart may be required.
